Norrsken VC is Europe’s largest early stage impact VC in Europe focused on investing in rapidly scaling early stage start-ups that use technology to solve some of the world’s greatest challenges while building highly profitable businesses.

sion; to make a dent in the world by proving that impact investing can combine positive impact on people and planet with strong financial returns. 

The internship is paid and part time (10-20 hours per week), starting as soon as possible. The role is Stockholm based.

Our dream candidate will have a mix of skills/experiences: (i) studying in the final years of a business degree (preferably in accounting and finance) (ii) having experience from previous internships in accounting, audit, or similar.

 Examples of areas you will take part of:

• Work closely with our CFO on the full cycle of fund accounting, including support for the preparation of financial reports

• Keeping portfolio management system up to date

• Perform quality control to ensure accuracy of all financials, including budget and follow-up

• Support in the annual audit process

• Support in other ad-hoc tasks

You are a good fit if you:

• Have previous experience in accounting and/or audit

• Bring exceptional Excel and Microsoft Office skills

• Love numbers and data

• Are structured, detail oriented and highly analytical

• Are English and Swedish speaking

• Are positive and contribute to a vibrant and driven team culture

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can demonstrate an ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish

Norrsken VC was incubated by Norrsken Foundation, but today operates as an independent venture capital fund. Norrsken Foundation is a non-profit foundation supporting entrepreneurs daring to tackle society's  biggest challenges, such as poverty, mental health, famine, food waste and environmental issues. of the journey as Norrsken is expanding to more places around the world.
