Norrsken VC is one of Europe’s largest early stage impact VC focused on investing in rapidly scaling early stage start-ups that use technology to solve some of the world’s greatest challenges while building highly profitable businesses.
We are a small team of 11 with an entrepreneurial spirit where every person makes a significant contribution to our results, now looking for the next person to achieve our mission; to make a dent in the world by proving that impact investing can combine positive impact on people and planet with strong financial returns.
The internship is paid and full time for six months, starting in early Fall 2022.
Our dream candidate will have a mix of skills/experiences: (i) studying in the final years of a business or engineering degree (ii) experience from previous internships in investment banking, management consulting, VC, PE, or similar (iii) and/or hands on start-up experience; having been part of a fast growing tech company.
The role is Stockholm based, but our team is international and we strongly believe that we make the best decisions as a diverse team so all applicants are encouraged and we are excited to see what new perspectives our next hire will bring to the team!
Examples of areas you will take part of:
Source and identify new investments, trends and opportunities
Support deal teams in evaluating investment opportunities by analysing e.g. their impact, business plan, market and industry trends
Support in other day to day tasks
You are a good fit if you:
Want to make the world a better place, and believe entrepreneurship and business models are great driving forces for this
Are dynamic, you see this as a journey where we will have to iterate our processes along the way and you are willing to roll-up your sleeves and contribute to it rather than expect a very static and fixed day to day
Are curious to learn about new things and ready to deep dive into analysis of unknown areas
Are positive and contribute to a vibrant and driven team culture
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can demonstrate an ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish
Love numbers and data
